Kathleen Heger
Founder & CEO
In a sense, KXP Logistics has been around for decades. Since Kathleen was a teenager, she has worked in the transportation industry: from small, family-owned businesses to huge, multi-billion dollar international corporations. Throughout her career, Kathleen has picked up best practices. She chose roles that allowed her to gain personal growth and professional experience. Her vision had been to one day build a solid transportation company with a team that embraces diversity, community development, and philanthropy. KXP Logistics is her vision come true!
Past Employers: Purolator Courier, Emery Worldwide, CF Airfreight, TNT Express Worldwide, Boston Package Delivery, US Delivery Systems, Corporate Express Delivery Service, US Express and Logistics, USXP, and now owner of KXP Logistics.
Along with her passion for everything transportation, Kathleen is an artist, music fan, sports fan and an avid, adventure-seeking traveler. She comes from a large, supportive Irish-Italian American family and enjoys every moment of living.
Victor Teixeira
Director of Operations & Supply Chain
Victor has 40 plus years of experience in the transportation industry. On-demand, same-day delivery, local or nationwide, has been his specialty for most of his career.
Born and raised in Boston, Victor attended Northeastern University where he earned degrees in Business Management, Transportation & Logistics, and Supply Chain Management.
Past Employers: Boston Package Delivery, TNT Express Worldwide, US Delivery Systems, Corporate Express, US Express & Logistics, USXP, and Boston By Air.
Victor is a foodie with a dream to be able to catch fish, harvest herbs and veggies from his garden, and prepare a sea-to-farm-to-table meal for his family. Victor's other interests include acting and community development.
Grace Teixeira Li
Administrative Specialist
Grace graduated from Connecticut College with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Gender, Sexuality, & Intersectionality Studies, and the Holleran Center's certificate in Public Policy and Community Action.
Grace was raised in Watertown, Massachusetts and is passionate about disability rights and social change, gaining familiarity with the ADA Standards for Accessible Design and web Content Accessibility Guidelines through interning at the Institute for Human Centered Design in Boston.
Past Employers: Connecticut College's Holleran Center -- Dispatch Center; Connecticut College's Division of Institutional Equity and Inclusion as their Student Ambassador and Program's Creator; Institute for Human Centered Design in Boston.
Grace could reasonably spend her whole life in a filing cabinet, cataloguing books and timesheets. Her hobbies include musical theatre, bracelet making, and board games.
KXP DRIVING TEAM
Each member of our driving team has solid transportation experience. KXP only partners with proactive couriers who communicate clearly and have a strong work ethic. Our team is courteous and helpful, making your KXP experience pleasant from pick up to delivery.
After placing your order, our dispatch team determines the best method to complete your request considering your shipment specifications, time parameters, detailed instructions, and which driver will be assigned. KXP monitors your orders as though we are an extension of your business. We will meet your goal and ensure we represent you well.
Our drivers wear KXP photo-identification badges while making deliveries for quick entry through security and to ensure that we are identified correctly at the shipping area at the front desk. We take every minute into consideration while handling your time-sensitive package.
Our computer software allows the drivers to update the orders with the pick-up, delivery, and receiver's information. This information is provided on our billing invoices.
KXP applauds our driving team and knows you will do the same! In the most difficult weather conditions and in the most challenging logistical issues, our drivers persevere through the delivery process to exceed your expectations. Others try. We deliver.
Ryan Zamilus
Weekend Operations Manager
Ryan has had a successful career in transportation, distribution, and warehousing. He has detailed experience in same-day delivery, routed, scheduled, contingency drivers, warehousing, stocking, last mile, scanning, trucking, scheduling, and managing teams of drivers.
Ryan is the eldest of four boys and has a young son himself. He was raised in Randolph, Massachusetts, where he met and married his high school sweetheart. Ryan attended Massasoit Community College where he earned an associates degree in Communication Media. Ryan is bilingual: he is fluent in Haitian Creole and English.
Ryan’s hobbies include basketball, football, music, and filmmaking, production, and development. He also enjoys working out.
